portraits of child maltreatment, the relationships
between addiction and child welfare, the roles
of addiction professionals regarding child welfare,
and the independent timetables for addiction treatment,
child welfare, welfare to work, and child development.
It reviews the child protection and child welfare
systems, the child welfare continuum, and information
about typical state requirements. It provides
tools to identify your state's child welfare requirements
and to track clients' progress through the child
welfare system. It provides suggestions for problems
often encountered with clients involved in child
welfare.
