The National Guideline Clearinghouse™
(NGC) is a comprehensive database of evidence-based
clinical practice guidelines and related documents
produced by the Agency for Healthcare Research
and Quality (AHRQ), U.S. Department of Health
and Human Services, in partnership with the American
Medical Association (AMA) and America's Health
Insurance Plans (AHIP).
NGC's mission is to provide physicians, nurses,
other health professionals, healthcare providers,
health plans, integrated delivery systems, purchasers,
and others an accessible mechanism for obtaining
objective, detailed information on clinical practice
guidelines and to further their dissemination,
implementation, and use.

The Stanford-UCSF Evidence-based Practice Center
provides an infrastructure and focal point for
the conduction of high quality systematic literature
reviews, supplemental syntheses, technology assessments,
and generation of evidence reports. Access to
local experts in all components of healthcare
decision-making enhances the center's truly multidisciplinary
scope. The center will focus on furthering the
practice and translation of evidence-based medicine
in the ultimate pursuit of improving health outcomes
for populations and individuals.
